We genuinly feel that we are the best place for you to sell your damaged car! We will offer you a fair price, collect your car from your home and pay you for the vehicle whilst our driver is on your premises. We have no charges or fees what so ever!

How will you pay me for my damaged car?

Our usual method of payment is an instant bank transfer direct into your bank account. This service is completely free and in virtually all cases the funds are in our customers account as cleared funds prior to our driver leaving your premises.

What documents do I need to sell my damaged car?

You do need your logbook (V5) to sell your damaged car to us. I am afraid that we are unable to purchase your car without it.

Oh no, I’ve lost my Log book..

You can get a replacement log book (V5) by filling in a V62 Form that can be downloaded from www.dvla.gov.uk. Or you can collect one from your local Post Office.

Are there any cars you won’t buy?

The short answer is No. We will pretty much buy any car!

My car is not recognised when I type in my registration number?

There are a couple of reasons why this might have happened. The DVLA may not recognise your number plate, the car could be imported etc.. Don't worry this does not mean that we don’t like your car, please simply email us here whydoyounotlikemycar@sellthedamagedcar.com and we will be get back to you shortly.

I think I might have missed a dent or scratch and I also made a big mistake with the mileage..

Naturally all our quotes have to be‘subject to viewing’. This certainly does not mean that we will offer you one price over the telephone and another price when our driver gets to your premises or that our drivers will try and find imaginary faults with your vehicle. It does however mean that if when we come to collect your car it is not as described then of course the car has lost value and we would naturally have to re-evaluate your quote. If you are not happy with our revised offer then there won’t be any hard feelings, we don't charge you for this and you are not bound by any contracts to us, unfortunately we will simply not be able to purchase your car.
